Working Better Together

By making collaboration its operating model since 2001, Qantis has broadened its members’ experience of cooperation and exchange. Today, this expertise along with a belief in performance and entrepreneurial innovation echo the issues of our society.

Faithful to the values of its SME members, today Qantis aims to disseminate and transmit this experience to advance the economy towards more collaboration.

An Opportunity to Seize

The phenomenon of the collaborative economy is very old and has proven itself with agricultural, wine, and dairy cooperatives…: what worked based on close geographical ties is now possible on a national or even international scale, with the internet and digital tools.

We are witnessing a change of mentality, carried by the new generation, which seeks to work with others. The myth of the superhero CEO capable of doing everything is disappearing: today’s leaders recognise their weaknesses and the benefit of working together.

The financialisation of the economy has led towards a general feeling of exasperation. Even though the collaborative economy is also an economy based on performance, its success is not solely measured by how much money is earned. It is about having a global vision of performance: at the societal, as well as social and environmental levels.

Thanks to the collaborative economy, capitalism is returning to its original meaning, namely the pooling of resources and production capacity to work better together.

a gateway to the world of tomorrow and an extraordinary source of possibilities. »

Collaboration, a Source of Inspiration for Success

To respond to the financial sector’s loss of meaning, it is necessary to create connections, to allow for a change of mentality, and to make working at a company desirable.

Appealing to a partner is no longer a sign of weakness but of resourcefulness. To survive the current economic context, the company must flourish outside the traditional vertical hierarchy by delegating, not its responsibility, but its trust.

Convinced of the importance of networks in a context of economic crisis, our conviction is to encourage entrepreneurs to set up inter-company alliances. Staying united is the goal, by taking inspiration from the many success stories that have emerged from the collaborative economy in order to reinvent themselves and their businesses.

The collaborative economy is not just a question of “market uberisation” but a pragmatic approach to bring communities together and to jointly buy better, train better, sell better, and communicate better.

Together We Go Further

UberPop against taxis? Is the new collaborative economy a threat to the traditional economy? Not at all! Traditional businesses can and must learn from new business methods in order to grow. This new economy, which is a gateway to the world of tomorrow, represents an extraordinary source of possibilities.

Written for the attention of directors, managers, executives, entrepreneurs, and students, this book, based on examples of collaborative companies (Michel & Augustin, BlaBlaCar, Airbnb, Leboncoin, KissKissBankBank…), provides the user manual to point the way forward for management teams and to reinvent traditional businesses by taking inspiration from the collaborative economy. In other words: the winning user manual!
